Have you ever met a special needs child or a child with a disability? I have. In my experience most are extremely happy go-lucky kids who find great enjoyment in their lives. It’s ironic, really. I know many people, including myself, who gain a greater appreciation for life when faced with a serious illness. I don’t believe it was intended to be like this.
