The Sun Will Shine Again

Inspirational bible quotes can prove excellence sources of encouragement and hope during really difficult times. I have personally relied on three positive quotes that have help me through the most challenging time of my life. I’m sharing them in the hopes that you can find comfort and encouragement from them as well.

“Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but Gods.”

I relied on this quote when I discovered I had a brain tumor. Talk about shocked and scared. It served to remind me that I did not have to fight my battle alone, but that I could chose to depend on God and lean on him to carry some of the burden. Tapping into my faith prepared me to handle what was to come.

Now what about you – what great challenge are you dealing with? I know things can sometimes seem overwhelming and hopeless. This is simply your sign to tap into something greater than yourself. I have learned from my personal experience that there is ALWAYS a way to make things better or to find a positive perspective – you simply have to be open to the possibility. Which brings me to the second quote as follows:

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fevor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.”

I can honestly tell you that my brain tumor was only one of my problems. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “when it rains, it pours?” That was me. I also had to deal with the death of a relative. I’ve come to believe that everything happens to us for a reason, but we are never given more than we can handle. The key is to find the strength to keep going. I prayed like I never prayed before. I also chose to believe in the BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME.

I know – that seems impossible when times are really tough. However, I’ve learned that’s the true secret to making it through challenging times – you have to be willing to fight and believe. Personally, I believe we often face challenging times to prompt us to lean on God more. These times also serve as a reminder to appreciate the things that are going well in our lives. Keep plugging away – knowing that the situation you are facing shall pass.

Lastly, of the three quotes, I referenced this one in a previous post, but it’s worth repeating again. It’s one of my favorites and I believe in it with all of my heart. It goes:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

I don’t know what challenges and difficulties you face, but I know they are serious to you. I share challenges I’ve conquered as an example, because I believe you can make it through, too. It will be hard and require you to hang in there. You may even shed tears and experience pain along the way. It’s the hard part of the process. However, experience and life are great teachers. With time, things will get better.

Now here is what I want you to do – write these three inspirational bible quotes down (or find three that really touch you). Then I want to you carry them with you – every single day. Pull them out and read them often. Rely on them and find strength and faith. Absorb the words until you believe them with all of your heart – it should help your channel your thinking as you deal with your situation.
