Inspirational thoughts for today come from the following positive quote:
That man is happiest who lives from day to day and ask no more, garnering the simple goodness of life. ~ Euripides
This inspirational quote made me think how complicated life seems at times. I mean – most of the time life is busy – filled with a lot of stuff. Much of this stuff is big deals to us. Do you know what I mean? As you read this, I’d like you to think about your own life. What little things are you making big deals over?
Don’t Let Little Things Grow Into a Complicated Problem
Let me give you an example from my own life. Yesterday, my husband took my son to buy a jacket. You would have thought I asked him to design and sew the jacket himself. They spend over 3 hours shopping for one garment. My husband was so stressed out when he returned. He looked at me accusingly and said, “That was pure torture. Don’t ever put me in that situation again.” He was so worked up that he couldn’t appreciate the extra bonding time he had with our son.
From the moment I told my husband he’d have to do this task, he fretted over it. For days, no less! Me? I’d simply take my son, give him a price range, the rules, and then let him pick what he wants. Primarily, I only care that the jacket keep him warm. After wards, I’d take him to lunch and just enjoy the beauty of his smile and our conversation.
It’s Now About You
Now, to you. What do you worry about for tomorrow that detracts from today? What little things are big deals? Maybe an irritating habit of a loved one? Maybe, a misunderstanding over something small? Or maybe you are simply overwhelmed by everything you need to get done. Believe me, it will likely work itself out if you take it one day at a time.
This is why I love positive quotes. I always gain inspirational thoughts and encouragement to help me through each day.
Be Inspired
Here is something else I’d like you to think about. In addition to the little things – what simple thing about life have you enjoyed today? Personally, I love to stare out of my kitchen window to view our huge pine trees. They are so tall and beautiful – very graceful when they sway in the wind. Often, I find a little joy from that simple view. If you already find such beauty – it’s wonderful isn’t it? If you have not experienced it yet, then make it your mission to start. You will be amaze how much more joy and happiness you experience. Everyday, there are little things to enjoy if you just pay attention. Please take this positive quote to heart and be inspired.
