Trust God. Sounds corny, works every time. ~ Ellen Benneman
For me, all inspirational thoughts are not made equal. This is one of those times. In the spirit of Christmas, I always reflect on it’s true meaning
and how I am grateful to be here. If I can offer you one piece of advice that can carry you through any thing, the opening inspirational quote says it all.
When brainstorming post to write for this Blog, one of the things I try to do is offer a balance between inspirational bible quotes and other types of inspiring messages. I take this approach when sharing inspirational thoughts, because inside of each and every one of us is our core beliefs – those experiences and ideals that make up who we are as people. Wonderfully, we are all different.
In my case, working on my relationship with God is important. I’ve dealt with plenty of ups and downs in my life and my trust in God has carried me through each and every time.
I’ll be honest, I’ve never appreciated people who try to push their religious ideals onto me. I believe everyone has a right to believe what they like.
In my opinion, there is big difference between expressing your love for something and sharing what has worked for you compared to criticizing or condemning people because they believe something else or don’t quite interpret things the way you do.
Anyhow, that’s another post for another day. I have to add, though; many people would be much happier in life if they were more open to other people’s differences.
Back to the message at hand.
As you go through this Holiday Season, I hope you use it as a time of reflection. Carefully, reflect on the good, the bad, and the ugly over the past year. Celebrate the good and use the bad as lesson’s learned. For me, I add the extra activity of giving thanks and love to God. Without him as my foundation, dealing with the crappy side of life would have been much harder.
I’d like to leave you with these inspirational thoughts:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm on your face;
the rains fall soft upon your field,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
