Trust your gut. ~ Barbara Walters
These three simple words say it all. Most people ignore their innate power which provides a sense of right or wrong; good or bad; wise or unwise.

There are so many reasons you can ignore your instincts. Most of the time, it’s when you allow yourself to fall into the “chose between better or worse” trap. You know the times I’m talking about. Here are a few examples:
- You are debating if you should go with the flow even though you know it is a mistake. In the end, you figure it is better not to rock the boat. Really?
- You are contemplating a big decision. However, there are a few things that do not feel quite right about it. You brush it off, knowing you have to do something. You figure everything will work out in the end. Will it?

When you suppress your gut reaction you usually suffer more grief. Why? Because most of the time, those warning signs or things that didn’t feel “quite so right” surface. Then you must deal with consequences. Never forget, you are gifted with instincts for a reason, so the best thing you can do is pay attention to the internal signs that are there to help you.
