There are some inspirational thoughts that should never be ignored. In my opinion “You reap what you sow.” is at the top of the list. Why? Because it’s the nature of things.
I’m sure you’ve heard the following inspirational saying, “what goes around comes around” or “you get what you give.” Therefore, if you want a more positive life, you have to add positive things to life.
Here is the ironic thing. We often think we do not have enough time or resources to make a real positive difference in our own lives, let alone someone else’s life. Here’s inspirational thoughts for you – you can make a big difference.
3 Positive things you can do for free that will lead to a happier and more rewarding life (inspirational thoughts).
My husband likes to remind me that its the little things that have value and meaning. Therefore, if you get into the habit of practicing small, but positive gestures, you will not only add more positivity to your life, but spread this precious gift to others.
Say ‘thank you’ alot. Everyone likes to be appreciated. When someone does something for you – no matter how big or small – show your appreciation by thanking them. If you’re feeling real generous, add a smile to that thanks.
How meaningful is thank you? Think of a time when someone didn’t not acknowledge or thank you for your efforts, your time, your energy, your sacrifice. You get the idea. It doesn’t exactly promote good feelings now does it. Honestly, you can say thank you in less than a minute. It’s a very powerful and inspiring tool when you are sincere.
Say ‘please’ alot. How do you feel when someone demands something of you? If you’re like me, it can rub you the wrong way. People who ask and say please get more out of me than those who demand and boss. By simply adding please to requests you show consideration for the other person.
Personally, I think using the word please in an argument is a powerful detractor that can calm the waters some. For example, you can say something like, “please, simply hear me out.” Doesn’t that sound better than, “you’re going to listen to me.”
The best part is using the word please is free and will not take up too much of your time. It’s about a second added to whatever it is you are communicating. What a great deal. You get more out of people when you need it, and you can save yourself some grief.
Pay three people a sincere compliment today. It’s so easy to focus on the negatives about people. But do you know what this does? What happens, though, is those negatives start to eat at you – causing irritations, frustration, or anger towards the other person. These types of feelings kill your chance for a positive day.
So try this – find three people and tell them something that you appreciate about them. Now I will suggest you keep it real. That wise old saying, “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” definitely applies here.
These inspirational thoughts and tips, if applied, can change your day in less than an hour. The are easy to do and will not cost you anything so you have no excuse not to try.
Here are closing inspirational thoughts to ponder: “Every day we care called to small things with great love. ~ Mother Theresa”
