You see, it’s often those small things – the little disagreements with others, that thing that somebody did to piss you off; those rushed moments when you need to catch up after falling behind. This is why daily inspiration is so important. It’s not that inspiration will keep those things from happening, but it WILL help soften the blow…help you get through the small stuff better and faster.

The Best Laid Plans Set You Up For Stress
We both know that there are times when nothing seems to go according to plan. I am convinced that what happened to me this week inspired me to share what I learned with you. It’s things you’ve probably experienced before.
Let’s see, I had two co-workers upset with me for suggesting we learn to work together better as a team. They became extremely defensive and snappy with me. Has this ever happened to you? If it has, then you may understand that urge to snap back? I felt that way as first until I realized it wouldn’t do me any good in the short term. Why upset myself and add to the drama? Instead, it was more fun to torture them with kindness. It’s much more fun. This way, I don’t have to worry about becoming tense and defensive every time I run into them. Nope. I let them have that honor.
Also, just today, a woman rear-ended my car – resulting in a good amount of damage. I’m not happy about it. But the damage was done. Of course, the possibility of paying out money or needing to get a new car could be challenging. It’s simply not in the budget. But I’m not going to worry. Instead, I’ll focus on finding answers. Unfortunately, the poor woman who hit me was driving her boyfriend’s new car. She was stressed beyond belief. I couldn’t see the point of being negative with her. It wouldn’t have done either of us any good.
That is the point, my friend. It’s all of those little things that add up. Then when a bigger thing happens, it often does us in. Well, it does not have to be that way.

Take each day one day at a time. When something happens, try to not automatically react negatively. This takes practice, but it you really try, you will see a difference over time. To me, that’s what matters. Just like little things can add to stress – little actions and attempts can make your life better. Following is another inspirational short poem for you to enjoy.
