Acoustic Neuroma Brain Tumor Followup
Friday, January 4th, 2008It’s been two years since my acoustic neuroma brain tumor surgery. However, I still remember it as if it were yesterday. The entire experience was the scariest event I’ve had to face so far in my life. I promised myself that I’d communicate my experience to help others; because I have to tell you, reading about the negative and terrifying experiences of others with brain tumors only heightened my fear. The truth of the matter is that most people who post their acoustic neuroma brain tumor stories are those experiencing the negatives or those who chose the ‘wait and see’ approach. When I learned that those with more positive acoustic neuroma brain tumor outcomes were less likely to post on the Internet, I wanted to be one of the exceptions, because when dealing with something like this positive experiences can really help.
